Material Needs

God has been faithful in meeting our needs, but there are always new projects that require attention. Prayerfully consider giving towards the following areas and, by doing so, help expand the reach of the ministry.

San Pedro - our current needs, as of February 2010, include:

  • New church building - we are starting construction on a multi-purpose structure with room for 700. Funds are needed to purchase materials and pay for workers.
  • Schooling expenses - through our ministry, we sponsor students at all levels of education. Schooling expenses prevent some children from attending school at all, and many students don't progress past a high school education. Education sponsorship gives these children a chance to achieve a better quality of life. Please help meet this important need.
    • Primary school: $85 (government school)-$700 (private school)/year
    • Secondary school: $105/year
    • High school: $310/year
    • College/university: between $500-$3000/semester, depending on the school and the program of study
  • Monthly support - regular monthly support, in any amount, is vital to Seedtime and Harvest and the missionaries working in Mexico.
  • Projects - you can also donate toward specific ministries and ongoing projects. These include:
    • Rehab centers, which need money to support the recovering men, buy food and supplies, and fund work projects for them.
    • The El Calor soccer team, which requires money to pay for uniforms, equipment, transportation, and weekly game fees. There are 3 traveling teams, as well as children's starter teams. The projected budget this year is $150,000.

Tepic - current needs, as of February 2010, include

  • El Punto funding - this is an outreach started by Philip and Simri which uses entertainment and youth-oriented activities to share the gospel. Last year there was live music, movies, dramas, presentations, and a motorcycle rally. This year they are expanding from one city to four, and need funding to reach more youth and make these events successful.
  • Xecora Secondary School and Rios de Agua Viva Bible School: these Tepic-based schools are in need of students and funding. Recently the Bible school was suspended due to lack of students.
  • Monthly support
